We care about your health and safety! Please read the following precautions we are taking to keep our clients and employees safe.


  • If you have been in contact with anyone who has the possibility or confirmed COVID-19 we expect you to reschedule.

  • If you display symptoms of fever, chills, headaches, cough or any symptoms COVID-19 related we will expect you to reschedule.

  • If you have traveled in the last two weeks to high risk areas, please reschedule your appointments. We are just trying to keep us all safe. Thanks for your understanding.

  • We continue to practice social distancing around the front end. We are committed to helping your check out process be easy and safe. we are happy to help you reschedule appointments during your visit or we recommend scheduling future appointments online or via phone to limit the length of time spent inside the salon. We require 24-hour advance notification if you are unable to keep your appointment.


  • Certain services are not available at this time due to KBOC policies. 

    • Nose waxing is currently not permitted.​


  • We require that you wear a mask to your appointment and we ask that it secures behind the ears for hair appointments. We also have disposable masks available for you.

  • Please arrive alone and do not bring children. Only people with scheduled appointments will be allowed. 

  • Magazines and beverages have been removed from the waiting areas; however, water and soda are available upon request. We insist you put mask on in-between sips. No outside food is currently allowed, please do not bring any food into the salon.

  • Upon entering Jules & Zoa, you will be asked to clean your hands with sanitizer. We have disposable gloves if you want or need them.

  • We will take your temperature (clients with a temperature will be asked to reschedule). 

  • Social distancing guidelines will be in place throughout all areas of the salon. The color processing table is temporarily closed.  As Always; Clean, sanitized smocks, capes, towels, and professional tools will be used for each client. 


  • Credit cards, check, cash, and electronic payment such as Venmo are allowed. We have alcohol wipes to clean credit cards if you wish. Pens are sanitized after each use. When browsing our retail area, please only touch what you intend to purchase. At the very least, please wash and sanitize before handling the product. All testers have been temporarily removed. Front end is routinely cleaned and sanitized with proper disinfectant.

As a high-touch industry of licensed professionals, we are governed by the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology to mitigate the spread of disease and uphold the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

To ensure the health and well-being of our clients, staff, their families, and the community at large, we have added the following enhancements to existing practices in order to mitigate the risk of COVID-19.

  • Practice social distancing when possible.

  • The salon maximum occupancy during this time is 15 people.

  • Several times throughout the day and before and after hours, we will sanitize all administrative, public, and private areas of the salon. All shampoo bowls, shampoo chairs, and station chairs will be sanitized after each use.

  • All of our service providers have been recently retrained and recertified by industry leader Barbicide.

  • Clean capes and towels are used for every service, all professional tools are sanitized after each use according to the KBOC.

  • Every station will be supplied with Viralcide wipes, and hand sanitizer.

  • Service providers will wash their hands after every application.

  • Our entire space has been treated with an antimicrobial spray, What Duh Fog!, a hospital-grade disinfectant that kills a broad spectrum of 99.999% of disease-causing bacteria and viruses. What Duh Fog! company is scheduled to clean, disinfect, and fog the entire salon and boutique every 8 weeks.
